Demo part 2 RELEASED!


Hey! Welcome to the second demo release of Disrobia. This took the feedback that players gave the first demo and, with that, hopefully overcomes some of the less pleasant things in the first demo:

  • Players felt entities were too forward, so consent is now manual unless Erisia is turned on, giving some breathing room for exploration.
  • Players had trouble with the rhythms, so now rhythms are easier to hit and have better visual feedback incl. the rhythm circle, but also audible feedback and vibrating feedback (if you use a controller).
  • Players felt lost, so the game now has a minimap and visual effects that help guide you to where you need to go.
  • Players were confused about how “combat” animations work, so the game now has a tutorial you can play by talking to the Guidess at spawn.

It took longer than I expected to get all these improvements in, but they’re all finally here now. I’m expecting to release a few follow-up bug fix releases in the coming days as with the first demo. As usual, feedback is much appreciated - feel free to use the Itch.io forum here, or Discord, to do so! :)

This is the final demo release in terms of content. It will receive bugfixes, but new content will be very sparse from now on, instead new content will become available through Patreon insider builds. Major changes

  • Added Normal difficulty, in addition to the current hard, to give players an easier time if they prefer

  • Player consent is manual unless Erisia is horny or playing on hard - press “Use” button to consent near entities

  • Added 2 new monsters - the Bush Vine and the Floating Stone

  • Added 5 new NPC animations - Guidess tutorial, cat-tailed Mari, tentacle expert Mayuri, ogre lady Ulumpha, and plant lady Prie

  • Added 1 new idle animation - the Panthrill reward animation

  • Added 1 interactable animation - the wooden rope lift

  • Added 2 new minigames - the bush vine pit, and the forest wave arena

  • Added 4 new quests - cat-tailed Mari’s quest, plant lady Prie’s hide and seek quest, tentacle expert Mayuri’s quest, and arena lady Skye’s quest

  • Added various visual effects - save altar, player menu, improved purple water, rhythm circle, godrays, and so on

  • Added full controller support and vibrations - you can now play the game entirely with a controller. Note that it has only been tested with a Switch Joy-Con so feedback is welcome!

  • Added minimap to player menu - as you explore, you’ll discover more of the minimap

  • Added entity information to player menu - see status effects, group sex, is it rideable, what parts it pleases, and so on

  • Added super thrusting to all entities when you get a 5x rhythm combo

  • Added new areas - the “Frog Rise”, the “Floating Island”, the minigames, and Dark Forest entrance (with a sneak peek of the upcoming Dark Forest region!)

The rest

  • Rhythms should better with the improved circle visual effect

  • Rhythms are less punishing on normal, entities don’t lose progress anymore

  • Added auto-rhythm accessibility setting, if you’re having trouble, or just prefer it this way

  • Notifications take up less space on screen now, are clickable, and activates the relevant player menu tab

  • Floating Disc should get you out of water during an animation more reliably

  • Animation improvements:

    • Player idle animation
    • Pink slime
    • Panthrill bottoming animation
  • Close MilkBar exits and add exit buttons, to prevent sliding out and ending the game

  • Add quest-unlockable shortcut between Panthrill exit area and bush vine pit lift

  • Player has pink aura visual effect around head when horny

  • Entities add +1% horniness when attempting an animation with / getting close to Erisia

  • Add trails of wind and glitter to highlight intended paths and new areas

  • Make buttons more reliable

  • Fix player sprite lagging behind entity animations when moving

  • Add new Erisia menu sprite

  • Purple tentacles can now “upgrade” your animation if you’re grabbed while flying with a Bee Lady

  • Move settings into their own settings.json file in the game’s appdata folder

  • Improve Panthrill boss’ movement / navigation logic

  • Add more sound effects to various things - milk bar, shop, rhythms, and so on

  • Add help cursor icon

  • Display settings now ask you to press “apply” before the settings become active and tested - with a 10 second timed popup confirmation modal, in case a setting breaks the game

  • Optimise butterfly performance in exchange for slightly simpler movement

  • Combat no longer adds orgasm to your orgasm progress during ejaculation - given that you can end up with multiple cumshots, it felt unfair

  • Toys permanently make you level 1 if you’re level 0 - in addition to the temporary +1 level boost

  • Fixed a bug where purple swamp water wouldn’t show up on some devices
